If your referred person completes their first trip with Uber Carshare within those 90 days, you’ll receive $50 in credits to use on Uber Carshare. If your referred person lists and publishes a car listing within 30 days of signing up, you’ll earn a $200 cash reward.*

You can only get up to a maximum of 5 referral rewards per month (which may be a combination of $50 Carshare Credit Referral(s) and $200 Referral Reward(s), depending on actions taken by the user using your invite code), and a maximum of 300 lifetime referral rewards (which may be a combination of $50 Carshare Credit Referral(s) and $200 Referral Reward(s), depending on actions taken by the user using your invite code).*

When a new user signs up for Uber Carshare using your personal invite code, you become eligible for one of two referral rewards (described below). Which referral reward you get (if any) depends solely on the action taken by the person who entered your personal invite code. 

You will earn $50 in Uber Carshare credits (“Carshare Credit Referral”) if the person using your personal invite code: 

(1) is a new user to Uber Carshare and never has previously signed up with Uber Carshare, and

(2) enters your personal invite code during signup and completes their first trip with Uber Carshare, all within 90 days of receiving the invite from you. 

You will earn $200 cash (“$200 Referral Reward”) if the person using your personal invite code:

(1) is a new user to Uber Carshare and never has previously signed up with Uber Carshare, and
(2) enters your personal invite code during signup and lists and publishes a car listing, all within 30 days of receiving the invite from you. 

Your personal invite code can only be used once per new user. If you receive any referral reward (either the $50 Carshare Credit Referral or the $200 Referral Reward) related to a user using your personal invite code, you are no longer eligible to receive another referral reward for that user.  

You can only earn a total maximum of 5 referral rewards per month (which could be a combination of $50 Carshare Credit Referrals and $200 cash Referrals, depending on the actions taken by the person using your personal invite code) and a maximum of 300 lifetime referral rewards (combined borrower and owner referral rewards).

Any earned Uber Carshare Credit Referral will be added to the user’s Uber Carshare account and is valid on Uber Carshare only for 90 days (beginning from the day the credits are added to the account) or until exhausted, whichever comes first. Uber Carshare credits can only be applied to fees, taxes, vehicle damage cover options, and time and distance charges (not to tolls or other charges that may be incurred) and cannot be used on Uber, Uber Eats or with any other Uber product. Credits cannot be substituted for cash and are non-transferable. 

Any earned $200 cash referral will be applied to your gross earnings (your share of your earnings from Uber Carshare after Uber Carshare service fees are deducted).

Referral amounts and requirements may vary by city. Uber reserves the right to withhold or deduct payments/credits if we believe they were in error, fraudulent, illegal, or in violation of terms. Offer and terms may vary by location and are subject to change. Uber Carshare reserves the right to cancel invite codes if, in Uber’s reasonable opinion, a user is not following the terms and conditions. Invite codes can’t be shared between countries.
