How we screen and verify borrowers

All borrowers must be verified before they can borrow cars. 

We run various checks and only approve borrowers who meet our borrowing criteria.

Verification

We check:

• Identity
• Driver’s licence
• Driving history
• Internet credentials through leading fraud prevention technology

You’ll be able to see what we check for the borrower on their profile when they book your car.

Community 

We also have clear rules to help our community run smoothly and build trust and respect between owners and borrowers. 

If a borrower doesn’t follow our community guidelines or otherwise breaches our Terms of Service, we may charge them a fee and pass that along to other users.

In some cases, we'll suspend a borrower's access to the platform entirely.

Owners can also block a borrower from booking their car again by giving them a thumbs-down review.
