Helping first time borrowers

Give first-time borrowers a great first experience when they book your car and use some of these tips.

Send a welcome message

It's a great idea to send a welcome message to all your borrowers, especially if it's their first booking with you. 

This can help make the experience more welcoming.

Example welcome text message

Hi there! Thanks for booking my car. Please take care of it and return it clean. All the information you need will be in the app during your trip. If you have any questions, read my special instructions in the app or get in touch. Enjoy your trip! [Your name]

Send a thank you message

A thank you message near the end of your borrower's trip will help remind them to return the car clean and parked correctly and encourage them to leave a review for your car. 

If you're able to, send the message about 30 minutes before their booking ends.

Example thank you message

Hope you had a great trip! 

Make sure you take all your things with you and give the car a quick clean, if necessary. Follow the parking instructions in the app to return the car. 

I'd really appreciate it if you could leave me a review. Thanks again for borrowing my car. [Your name]

Leave the borrower a review

You can leave them a thumbs up if you’re happy with the borrower. Your review will show on their profile for other owners to see when they book cars in future
