Member Insiders

We're always looking for ways to improve our members' experience, and so this is why Member Insiders was started.

Member Insiders is a panel of members that have signed up to give feedback. We contact them every now and then to get feedback on our latest projects and ideas.

So, what does a Member Insider do? You might be asked to try out a new feature, give feedback on a prototype, or come along to user interviews with our researchers to help us dive into how we can make the car-sharing experience better.

Perks of being a member

You're rewarded for your time – if you're an owner, incentives range from $20 to $100 a session. If you're a borrower, you receive a free monthly Heavyweight membership, which gives you free Premium Cover and no booking fees on every trip.
Enjoy flexible participation – complete surveys, take part in user interviews or test out new features. Borrowers need to participate in at least 1 activity every 3 months.
Shape new features and experiences – not only will you get a sneak peek into new features, but you'll get to influence new experiences too.

Eligibility requirements

To join the Member Insiders panel, you need to:

Be an existing member
Have taken at least one trip or listed a car to share
Be based in Toronto

Respect people’s right to be their authentic selves. Be kind. Do not discriminate against anyone based on their age, disability, race or sex.

Don’t bully or harass

Use inclusive, respectful language free from obscenity or anything that might cause shame to, defame or diminish another person

Respect everyone's privacy

Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group. Don’t share personal information without permission from the other party. See our Privacy Policy.

Participation in Member Insiders

We’ll send you an email to invite you to each monthly Member Insiders session – Just click to ‘Yes, I’ll join’ so we know you can participate.
Some months we may ask you to complete a short survey or task. We’ll let you know how long it will take so you can plan to complete it in one attempt and within the requested time frame.
Kindly do not share the links we send you as part of any testing with others.
When joining a group session, please be on time and let us know if you can’t make it.
While we appreciate all your feedback and will take it into consideration, we also need to balance it with our business needs and limitations, so all your suggestions may not be able to be implemented in the final product.
