Unfortunately, we can't change the peak rate calendar to reflect that Thursday, 22 September is a one-off public holiday.
There are a few reasons why, but the main reason was that the change would apply to all bookings on that day, including those who had booked before the public holiday was announced – meaning borrowers would have had to pay a higher price even if they booked before the announcement.
Given the short notice, it would have been difficult to get both the calendar change and a cancellation offer out to borrowers in time, so we made the decision not to include it in the calendar.
