Short answer:

You'll receive an invoice each month by email. You can also view all your invoices and recent transactions through the website on the Account page.

Accessing your invoice

Your invoice for the previous month will be sent out between the 3rd-10th of each month. You will receive an email notification when your invoice is available to view.

If you've been charged an amount and want to check what it was for, you can access your monthly invoice history at any time by logging in to view your account.

Note: you can only view invoices through the website (not app).

  1. Log in to the website (not app)
  2. Select the menu in the top right corner and select Account
  3. Select Financial documents
  4. Choose the monthly invoice you'd like to view and click View invoice

You can also download a spreadsheet version of this too. 

Receipts for individual trips

We'll email you a link to your receipt for your trip after it's been billed. For most trips, this happens overnight, but for some trips, it can take a few days.

Note: you can only view your trip cost summary through the website (not app).

  1. Log in to the website (not app)
  2. Select Trips
  3. Find the trip you want the receipt for
  4. Download your trip receipt

Checking recent charges before your invoice is released

Invoices are sent once a month, but you can view a list of your transactions by logging in to the website or app and choosing Account summary from the menu.

  • It’d be appreciated to have it before closure of the month. A lot of businesses request that expenses are claimed before the end of the month. Not having the invoice on time will prevent me from using Car Next Door for business trips

  • I used a car, and was auto charged for its usage. All cool. BUT... Why was I under-charged? Why the balance is sent to me on monthly basis, when the invoice says it will be deducted from my card? Get it together guys!

    Great service. But I have to agree, why can't you generate an invoice for completed trips. If used for a work purposes they need expenses to be claimed weekly. Waiting untill the start if the month seems unnecessary.surly adding a download pdf invoice for completed trips can't be hard.

  • Hi Pita, we'd love to create invoices for individual trips in the future but unfortunately it's not planned for any time soon. Because of the way our billing works, it's actually a bit harder to do than you may think! We know this makes it harder for some people to use Car Next Door for work so it's definitely on the list of improvements we plan to make in the future.
