Cars parked on the street work great for car sharing. As long as there is suitable unrestricted parking (or you have a parking permit) near your house, you can keep your car parked on the street and share it with borrowers.
We can tell borrowers (and yourself) exactly where your car is using the in-car GPS as part of our Instant Keys technology. When a borrower returns it, we ask them to try to park as close as possible to the 'ideal park' you nominate. You can also let them know the best streets to park on when you set your parking instructions.
Borrowers are also accountable for making sure the return parking spot is a legal park. If they get a parking fine for returning a car to a limited spot, then they will be responsible for it.
