We're here to help you make sure that your car is safe to drive.

So when a borrower submits a safety report about your car, we’ll email that information on to you for checking.

Your car safety report

  1. You’ll get a car safety report

When a borrower reports a safety issue with your car, we’ll email that report to you.

So you’ll find out what’s wrong and what to do next.

This report is only visible to you - it’s not public.

  2. Check on your car

Visit your car and assess the issue - or get someone else to visit.

  3. Get it fixed

If your car needs maintenance or repairs, attend to them as soon as possible.

Book in a time with your mechanic and let us know when it should be fixed by.

If it’s not a safety issue, let us know so we can update your car’s record.

Take photos or videos, or gather documents like a mechanic's report, to show us that the car is safe to drive.

  4. We’ll follow up

We’ll be in touch to see how it’s going, if you haven’t let us know already.

Pausing your listing to get it fixed

If we have concerns about whether your car is safe to drive, we may pause upcoming and future bookings until you can provide information that proves the vehicle is safe to drive.

Take photos or videos, or gather documents like a mechanic's report, to show us that the car is safe to drive.

When your car is safe again, we’ll make it available again for bookings.

As part of the member agreement, it is your responsibility to keep your car well-maintained and your borrowers safe.

Invest in your car’s maintenance

These safety reports are designed to help you maintain your car for hassle-free car sharing.

Borrowers may leave feedback in other ways through reviews and private feedback to you, so you should still take note of this and review any issues borrowers raise.
