It's a great idea to send a welcome message to all your borrowers, but especially if it's their first trip. This helps them feel welcome and comfortable borrowing a stranger's car. You can find the borrower's contact details in the app or website.

Here's an example of a message you can use:

Hi there! Thanks for booking my car. Please take care of it and return it clean. All the information you need will be in the app during your trip. If you have any questions, read my special instructions in the app or get in touch. Enjoy your trip! [Your name]

If there are any particular quirks about your car, it's a good idea to include them in your welcome message too. 

Send a thank you message

A thank you message near the end of your borrower's trip will help remind them to return the car clean and parked correctly and encourage them to leave a review for your car. If you're able to, send the message about 30 minutes before their booking is scheduled to end.

Here's an example:

Thanks again for borrowing my car. Hope you've had a great trip! Make sure you take all your things with you and give the car a quick clean if necessary. Follow the parking instructions in the app to return the car. If you enjoyed your ride, I'd really appreciate it if you could leave me a review. Hope to see you on the road again soon! [Your name]

Leave the borrower a review

Help your borrowers build a good profile by leaving them a review after their trip. Your review will show on their profile for other owners to see when they book cars in future.
