Short answer:

The Trusty Car badge is applied to cars that consistently provide an excellent, reliable experience to borrowers because they're well-maintained, get good reviews, and the owners don’t cancel bookings.

Trusty Car badge criteria

A car will get the ‘Trusty Car’ badge when:

  • The car has an active Serviced Badge
  • The car has received at least 10 bookings
  • The car has received at least 90% positive reviews in the last 3 calendar months
  • The owner has cancelled fewer than one out of every 50 bookings on this car

This means that if an owner cancels a booking even once during their car's first 50 bookings, that car will lose its Trusty Car badge. Cancellations due to borrowers’ fault won’t be counted.

The badge will be automatically added overnight after a car meets all the criteria. If a car with a Trusty Car badge fails any of the criteria, the badge will be automatically removed overnight.

  • Some borrowers do not leave a review - how does this affect getting the trusty car badge?

  • My car was under the same booking from last 3 months and rest other criteria already met hence , 10 booking in last 3 months is not valid in this case.
Please restore the Trusty badge immediately.

  • Hi, is there an answer on whether borrowers not leaving reviews affects the 90% positive review criteria? This is the only reason I can see for losing the badge this month, so it appears to be the case.

  • Can the "received at least 90% positive reviews in the last 3 calendar months" criteria please be re-worded to make it clearer that you need to receive reviews in EACH OF the last 3 months.

Due to COVID lockdowns in Melb, my vehicle received zero bookings in August and according to CND support this has made it ineligible for the Trusty Car badge, although across the last 3 months (Aug/Sept/Oct) the total number of reviews are greater than 90% positive.

  • 90% in each month?? Maybe this is why my brand new car has lost its trusty badge?? I have a brand new car with 11 out of 12 thumbs up and it has lost its trusty badge. Basic arithmetic says this is nuts. Why is CND breaking our balls like this when we are the owners carrying the risk? Mystifying and so are many of their replies to my correspondence on this matter which tell me that the machines running their world cannot be adjusted
